May Day, also known as Workers’ Day, was celebrated on Wednesday, May 1st, this year. The day is dedicated to recognising the contributions and achievements of workers nationwide and promoting workers’ rights and opportunities.
This year’s Workers’ Day themed, “Elections 2024: The Role of Workers and Social Partners in Securing Peaceful Elections for National Development,” sought to beseech workers to carry out their civic duty with integrity and professionalism.
