In a bid to promote bonding and camaraderie between staff members in different agencies and departments within the Ekumfi District, the Ekumfi District Assembly organized a friendly football match on Friday, 16th December 2022 against the Ekumfi Health Service. The match, which was keenly contested, ended with the Health Service emerging victorious by a scoreline of 4-2.
Staff from the district agencies and departments came together to watch the football game, which was held at Ekumfi Essauhyia Park. The match's objectives were to promote physical fitness and healthy living among the staff members while also fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among them.
Both teams displayed a great level of talent and sportsmanship during the competition, which was played in a pleasant yet competitive environment. Both teams had numerous scoring opportunities during the frantic game. In the end, the Ekumfi Health Service emerged as the more skillful team, scoring on four of their opportunities to defeat the District Assembly team 4–2.
