After the significant event that took place on the 22nd February 2024, the Ekumfi District General Assembly welcomed its newly elected presiding member, Hon. Kow Kakra Nketsia-Richardson.
The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by the District Court Magistrate at the assembly hall, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the Assembly’s leadership. Hon. Kow Kakra Nketsia-Richardson, who won the election with 27 votes against Hon. Daniel Hammond’s 12 votes, took the oath of office in the presence of Assembly members, local dignitaries, and community leaders.
The Magistrate administered the oath, emphasizing the responsibilities and duties that come with the position. The ceremony was a solemn yet celebratory occasion, reflecting the democratic values upheld by the Assembly.
