Ekumfi District Assembly Environmental Health Officers conducted inspections and educated traders on environmental sanitation and hygienic food handling at the Essuehyia Market.
The District Health Officer and her colleagues recommended that the traders acquire tables to showcase their products rather than arranging food on the open floor or on a sack on the ground whiles teaching them about the dangers that habit posed.
Officers also encouraged traders to use the market's sanitary facilities and to desist from indiscriminate urination, excrement, and littering.
