Environmental Health officers intensified industrial inspection and education. Officers visited Ekumfi Fruits and Juice Company Limited which is the major industry in the district and a few small scale industries.
The environmental department visited mechanic shops, block factories, carpentry shops, hair dressing saloons, piggery, washing bays and filling stations to asses the sanitation standards at the various industrial places as well as educate them on environmental sanitation and hygiene practices and how to improve on it.
