The Ghana Jobs and Skills Project, which is part of the prestigious YouStart flagship program, has completed its first cohort of beneficiaries in Ekumfi. The training exercise, which began on May 8th, 2023, was designed to empower young people and early adults by providing them the necessary skills.
With a goal of at least 50% female beneficiaries and priority given to persons with disabilities, the initiative aimed not just to promote gender equality but also to develop inclusion and equitable opportunity for all.
The successful completion of the first batch of beneficiaries demonstrates the project's and participants' passion and dedication. The Ghana Jobs and Skills Project has made tremendous strides toward establishing a more inclusive society by emphasizing gender equality and favoring those with disabilities. Beneficiaries' learned skills not only improve their own capacities, but also contribute to Ekumfi's economic growth and development, paving the path for a brighter future for everybody.
