As part of the Ekumfi District Assembly’s efforts to strengthen the already existing transparency and accountability in the decentralization of governance has released a schedule for the inauguration of the various Area Councils and swear in the elected Area Council Executives. 

 The Area Councils to be inaugurated includes Narkwa area council, Eyisam area council, Asaafa area council, Ekrawfu area council, Otuam area council, Immuna area council, Essarkyir area council and Ebiram area council. 

 The District Chief Executive and Coordinating Director of the Assembly together with a team of selected staff will be meeting with the elected Area Council members, Chiefs, opinion leaders, youth leaders and other members of the communities to undertake the inauguration.
